WILL YOU FOLLOW

GOD LOVES YOU

God created you, loves you, and has amazing plans for you. He knew you before you knew you. And He knew you since before the beginning of time.

  • Jeremiah 1:5"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you..."

  • Ephesians 1:4-5"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world..."

SIN BREAKS YOU

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell us for us to know that something’s wrong. What is division? It’s taking something that was once whole and breaking it apart. We have done things to break ourselves and break other people. Other people have done things to break us. Brokenness has caused us to turn our backs on God in rebellion and shame.

  • Romans 3:23"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

JESUS RESTORES YOU

What separates Christianity from every other world religion? Every other religion tells us how we can get to God, Christianity tells us how God came to us. God gave you everything in sending His perfect Son, Jesus, to die on the cross and resurrect from the grave so that we can be restored back into a relationship with God. Right here, right now. Jesus plunged through the barrier of brokenness that is sin.

  • John 3:16–17 (NLT)
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world,
but to save the world through him.”

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17–18 (NLT)
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.
The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
And all of this is a gift from God,
who brought us back to himself through Christ.
And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.”

WILL YOU FOLLOW?

We have a choice to make. Once to accept Jesus into our lives, and then every day following to live with Him as our new King. Will we live with Jesus as the Savior of our sins and the King of our lives? Or will we reject His invitation? Regardless, the magnitude of God coming to meet us and lead us demands a response from us.

  • Romans 10:9 (NLT)
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

  • Luke 9:23 (NLT)
“Then he said to the crowd, ‘If any of you wants to be my follower,
you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.’”
